metallic shoes?

As I try and pass the time sitting in in the Fulton County jury assembly room (I think it would have been much more glamorous if I was on the grand jury, but clearly life wasn't gonna throw me that bone this time), I'm scanning one of my favorite blogs, The Sartorialist. I would also like to note that they're explaining the trial process, and I have clearly seen enough law and order that I know how this shindig goes.

Now, I love Schumann's (creator of the Sartorialist) ability to capture emerging trends about as much as Noah loved Allie in the Notebook (yes, I did watch it recently, no I'm not proud of it).

So metallic shoes are in? This is pretty exciting news for me if we're being real. I am a particular fan of the ones on the lower left.
